Lucía González, REFORMA President-elect, and Lulu Delacre, Pura
Belpré Award winners, will receive the Jane Addams Honor Award for their
children's book The Storyteller's Candle/La velita de los cuentos. This
bilingual book tells the story of Pura Belpre, New York City's first Puerto
Rican librarian. The event includes an award ceremony, reception and book
signing.
No reservation necessary.
